Newly constructed and opened in 1999, Walhalla’s Star Hotel is a faithful reconstruction of the original facades of the Star Hotel, Stevenson Sharebrokers Office and the IOOF Hall. Located in the heart of Walhallas Historic Township, the hotel incorporates all modern amenities and facilities in luxurious, stylish surroundings.
Walhalla Star Hotels facilities include a private guest-only lounge, quality a- la-carte restaurant with wine bar and twelve spacious suites. All suites have their own lounge, ensuite facilities, CD player and king-size bed. A private cottage garden or a section of the verandah is a feature enjoyed by all suites.

V/Line train from Melbourne to Traralgon. Traralgon station is a 45 minutes drive from Walhalla – car hire pick-up at station with prior booking.
Complimentary transfers of hotel guests from either Traralgon Railway Station or Latrobe Regional Airport (prior booking required).
If cancelled after 4 pm on day of arrival a 50 % cancellation fee will apply.

Walhalla is a comfortable two and a half hour drive from the Melbourne CBD. From Melbourne - City Link, Monash Freeway, Princes Freeway (M1), turn off at Moe (McDonalds at Freeway exit), follow signs to Erica/Rawson/Walhalla (C103, C466, C461). The distance from Melbourne is 180km (111 miles) From Sydney - Princes Highway (A1), turn right at Traralgon at traffic lights with McDonalds/Pizza Hut, follow signs to Tyers/Walhalla (C477, C481, C461)
